Well, we covered a lot of territory today! Melina, Selena, Keegan, Michaela and Jade—great work on your “music math”—it all is starting to add up! For all the rest of you, you did good work on rhythm with Mr. Beethoven and Miss Melody. Keep it up!

Today we practiced fingerings of 1-5 on the right hand all together on our keyboards in rhythms! We learned about the Grand Staff, and a few tricks about reading notes quickly. Very good work today! We worked on hand fingering 1-5 on the right hand, high and low sounds, “beat” in music, the musical alphabet and naming white keys on the keyboard. We saw a special introduction to the parts of the piano, as well as a historical review. Looking Forward to seeing you next weekend!
