Hello Everybody!
We had a lovely lesson today! We began by clapping through our hand jive which was good fun, especially when it got faster and faster! We even tried to sing a song in two parts as we clapped the hand jive, but this was a bit tricky! We’ll try again after March Break!

Hello Everybody!
We began this week with a fun rhythm session. Instead of just using our hands to make rhythm patterns, we used different parts of our bodies. We tapped our shoulders, our heads, our laps and even made our noses beep! Eventually, we even began to do the ‘hand jive!’ (Pancakes, potatoes and curly fries!)

We began by discussing intervals. Remember, an interval is the distance between two notes. You count the bottom and top notes, and then every line and space inbetween.
