Lesson 2:
Today, Mr. Beethoven taught us about a very special note. This note is called Middle C, and it is represented by a man in a boat. To find Middle C, you find the middle of the piano, and then the group of two black notes closest to the middle. From there, Middle C is the first white note down from the two black notes.
Great work today everyone! See you all tomorrow! Here is an activity sheet for you!
Lesson 13:
In today’s class, Mr. Joplin taught us how to play with five finger ant tunnels in both hands at the same time! Wow this is tricky stuff! Don’t forget to always have your thumbs sharing Middle C. Each other finger should be on it’s own white note.
Great work! See you tomorrow! Here is an activity sheet for you!
Lesson 30:
Today, you finished up the lesson you started yesterday. Miss Melody had us play through some more songs, while you watched out to make sure you were always using the proper finger! Great work!
See you tomorrow for your next lesson!
Piano Suite 2:
Today, we talked about Legato and Staccato. These are two different ways of playing piano. When we are playing Legato, all the notes sound connected, and smooth. Staccato on the other hand, are short and detached. Great work practicing these two playing techniques!
We also worked on Let it Be a little more today before some time in the Improvisation Room! See you tomorrow!
