We had a small class but a great one today! The three girls did terrific!
The girls worked with Mr. Beethoven today, a composer who lived over 200 years ago and was deaf! He went over Lesson One with them which was showing them where the high and low notes are on the keyboard. He had them play some back to them by showing a picture of a bird and a whale. The bird is a high note and the whale is the low note.
After their lesson with Mr. Beethoven they worked with Miss Melody who went over what they just learned. Afterwards they played some games and did a little improvisation.
After that I had them sit on the floor and we all took turns playing high and low notes on the piano and seeing if we could trick each other. Everyone did terrifically and I can’t wait to come back next week!

I’m really excited about Gabriella taking lessons. I hope to receive the practice tools soon so that she can practice at home. Who can I follow up with about the practice tools I orderd?
I am so excited that Ryan is taking this class- she really enjoys music!
